Movement Technique Workshop
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
After an enlightening FREEminar, The Freeman Studio is excited to offer a NEW 4-Week Workshop with renowned director, choreographer, & teacher, FAY SIMPSON, Head of Movement at NYU’s Graduate Acting Program.
In this workshop she will explain and demonstrate her unique system she calls The Lucid Body: a pyscho-physical process based on the belief that self-knowledge is the most important ingredient to your acting. This holistic training offers the actor a way to embody the given circumstances of a character with a deep visceral truth by rearranging the energy in their own body.
She will work with actors to bridge the work into a personal process, as well as create some self generated work.
WHEN: Thursday Afternoons
NEXT DATES: September 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th at 2pm-5pm
The cost is $325.
