The View Behind the Table with Casting Legend TARA RUBIN

Join us for a FREE workshop with one of Broadway’s most renowned casting directors!

The Tara Rubin Casting company has a full slate of actively cast projects across Broadway, national tours, Off-Broadway, and film & television, including the Broadway casts of Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her, and the upcoming new musical Wanted.

TARA RUBIN started her company in April 2001 after 15 years as a casting director at Johnson-Liff Associates, where she worked on Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Sunset Boulevard, and Miss Saigon. Since then, she and her colleagues have cast Broadway’s Mamma Mia!, Jersey Boys, Aladdin, School of Rock, The Producers, and many more. In 2021 she received the Casting Society’s Hoyt Bowers Award for Excellence in Casting.

Tara joins us for our next FREEminar to share her wisdom with studio members and work with several of our attendees on prepared material. All actors can choose to participate or observe – a select number of attendees will be asked to prepare material and work with Tara.

Join us FRIDAY August 7th @ 2–4pm!
