IN CONVERSATION WITH SCOTT FREEMAN

Namir Smallwood—who has appeared in three Broadway plays, including Pipeline, Passing, and Tracy Letts’s Bug—has made his reputation as a core member of The Steppenwolf Theatre Company.

Scott Freeman was his foundation acting teacher at the Guthrie Theater/Univ of Minnesota acting program. During this event, the two had a lot of catching up to do, and attendees were treated to a look at what was then and what is now.
